An idyllic setting in which to enjoy lunch or afternoon tea. We discovered this pretty garden cafe almost accidentally, hidden away near the church. Very tranquil. Nice menu with plenty of choice, sweet and savoury. Pleasant and efficient waiting on staff even on a hot day. Would visit more frequently if only we lived closer!
Good food, good service, good value, pleasant surroundings

Food was ok. But we were surprised how espresso was served. Came in regular mug, so it looked really unappealing. Food was ok. My bfriend ordered fishcake with chips, our friend fishcake with salad. Both came with salad, with only difference that friend didn't get chips and his meal was served in bowl. I had panini which was really nice, I had some chips with it, that were really nice. Good value for money.
Great wee family-friendly atmosphere, staff could not be more helpful will, definitely pay another visit next time i am down from Scotland visiting family in nearby Corby.

We stumbled across this place whilst walking through Oakham and it looked really quaint and cute from the outside. The decor was lovely and the choice of teas was good. We were surprised to see so many good reviews as unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. The staff were nice but seemed very rushed even though it was fairly quiet, we then had to wait nearly 40 minutes for scrambled eggs and a bacon sandwich. When my bacon sandwich did arrive it was soaking in salad dressing from the few leaves of rocket and was served in very thin cheap white bread and cost £5.95. I’m not sure if this is the going rate for a bacon sandwich in Oakham but it was certainly not worth it. The sad thing is with so many local butchers and bakeries in the village, it’s a shame to see that these are not utilised and independent businesses are sticking together. Oakham is a lovely village that we would visit again but doubtful that we would visit here.
A truly amazing cafe. Very cute with its fine China plates and cups, keeping things tradition old English but very relaxed atmosphere. Food is amazing, all prepared fresh and tradition home made food. Cakes are to die for and the cafe caters massively for gluten free and for vegan so no excuses not to visit.
